Privacy Policy
How Tachyprint collects, uses, and protects personal data on tachyprint.com and shop-owner accounts.
Last updated: 2026-09-25
1. Who We Are
This Privacy Policy explains how Tachyprint ("we", "us") processes personal data when you visit tachyprint.com or hold a shop-owner account with us. Tachyprint is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Our contact details are at the bottom of this page.
2. Scope
This policy covers visitors to our marketing website and the businesses that sign up for and operate a Tachyprint shop (shop owners and their staff). It does not cover the personal data of a shop's own end customers, which each shop owner controls and which Tachyprint processes on their behalf under our Data Processing Agreement.
3. What We Collect
Account and business information: the email address, business name, and shop subdomain you provide when you sign up for a trial or account.
Contact-form submissions: the name, email, and message you send us through our contact form.
Server logs and security events: standard web server logs, and, for abuse prevention, IP addresses and related request metadata associated with signups, logins, and suspicious activity.
4. Legal Bases for Processing
We process your data to perform our contract with you (operating your trial or subscription and shop), on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the Service secure and preventing abuse and fraud, and, where applicable, on the basis of your consent (for example, for optional marketing communications, which you can withdraw at any time).
5. Processors We Use
We rely on the following processors to operate the Service. Each is bound by a data-processing agreement with us and only processes data as needed to provide its service:
Vercel — hosting and edge delivery for our marketing website.
Supabase — our Postgres database provider for the website's account and trial data.
Cloudflare — DNS, custom-domain provisioning, and network security.
Resend — delivery of transactional and account emails.
Sentry — error tracking for our website.
Render — hosting for our internal back-office administration tool.
Upstash — optional rate-limiting infrastructure to protect the Service from abuse.
Google Places — business verification during trial signup.
Slack — internal notifications about your account and, where you have opted in, a shared channel for support communication with our team.
6. Data Retention
We retain account and shop data for as long as your account is active, and for a limited period afterward to allow recovery of an accidentally cancelled account and to meet legal, accounting, and security obligations. Contact-form submissions and server/security logs are retained only as long as needed for the purpose they were collected for, then deleted or anonymized.
7. International Data Transfers
Some of our processors operate infrastructure outside the European Economic Area. Where that occurs, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognized under GDPR, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the processor's own certified adequacy mechanism, to protect your data.
8. Cookies
Tachyprint's marketing website and account dashboard set no non-essential cookies. The only cookie we use is a strictly necessary session cookie that keeps you signed in to your account dashboard; without it, you could not stay logged in between page loads.
Our website analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) is cookieless — it counts page views and events without placing any cookie or tracking you across sites. Because we set no analytics, advertising, or other non-essential cookies, this site does not require and does not show a cookie-consent banner.
9. Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to receive a copy of your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
If you believe we have not handled your personal data properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (Αρχή Προστασίας Δεδομένων Προσωπικού Χαρακτήρα), or with the supervisory authority in your own EU member state.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the "last updated" date; for material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you by email.
